ABOUT BCT

From the day it was formed in 1995, Byron Civic Theatre has thrilled audiences with live quality stage entertainment. BCT produces four shows per year and participates in outreach activities in the community. It is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit community organization governed by a Board of Directors, with performances held at the Byron Middle School Theater.

OUR MISSION

The Byron Civic Theatre is composed of individuals committed to providing a vehicle for diverse opportunities through involvement in and exposure to the theatrical experience. BCT provides a variety of professional quality theatrical productions resulting in friendships, family experiences, personal and organizational growth, and fun for everybody and anybody.

Volunteers welcome.

Volunteers are the foundation of what makes Byron Civic Theatre possible. Whether volunteering for a particular show or for an entire season, volunteers contribute to every area of productions and are highly encouraged to participate. Areas of interest include: carpentry, painting, props, sewing, ticket selling, ushering, concessions, production designers, stage managers, light crew, and sound operators + more.
